ProfitMax Consulting LLC, a performance driven sales consulting firm, was founded in 2010 by Jerry A Hering. With an MBA in Finance, he held increasingly responsible roles at IBM for 20+ years.

Mr. Hering achieved numerous coveted sales awards  while a Sales Executive at IBM and he studied and collaborated with Harvard PHD’s/DBA’s to become one of only a handful of Certified Client Executive’s in the company. Measured results include:

  • Top 10% in career sales target achievement including Golden Circle ( top 1% in sales)
  • Top 10% in customer satisfaction
  • 100% achievement of expense/sales targets
  • C-suite expertise resulting in largest IBM services engagement in PNW

Prior to IBM, Mr. Hering held a position as Senior Marketing Programs Executive at Tektronix Inc. While at Tektronix, he specialized in sales programs, sales forecasting and market research. Measured results for Tektronix include:

  • Increased sales by 12%
  • Reduced costs by 5%

Prior to Tektronix, Mr. Hering served as a Senior Accountant at ESCO Corporation where he prepared the monthly P+L statements and presented financial results to senior management.
